C. Holden's way of describing life seems a bit off. He seems like he hates life. He seems like a very pessimistic person and like he doesn't find much joy in anything. No matter how good things may seem, Holden seems as if he could find a way to ruin it. Holden doesn't like people in general, no matter who they are and he just seems like a confused character.
G. Similar to what Jackson wrote, if I were Holden, I would listen to what Old Spencer is saying and the values behind it. I think Old Spencer has a lot to reveal about what's important in life and what Holden needs to do to become the man everyone would want to be around. I would also take this advice to heart and truly work at trying to achieve the goals that are needed to be set.
B. The annoying kid, Ackley, seems like a key person in Holden's life. Although Ackley is unruly, annoying, and vulgar, he seems to be Holden's only friend. They always seem to be paired together so I guess this unintentional pairing has created a bond between them. It is a very awkward "friendship" but it's the best Holden has right now.
